Our unique approach
Discovery Kids operates from a strengths-based perspective, recognizing and embracing the potential in every child. Our unique learning environment provides opportunities for children to engage in both educational and therapeutic activities in a child-centered, play-based manner. We provide ample opportunities for creative expression, sensory enrichment, naturalistic exploration, and social-emotional engagement in a hands-on environment, with activities carefully overseen by experienced child therapists and specially trained play coaches.

A family-centered perspective
Parents come to our program looking for an alternative to traditional adult-driven approaches to education and therapeutic interventions. Our program appeals to parents who believe in the importance of affirming approaches to interventions for children who have significant developmental or behavioral challenges. We operate from a family systems perspective, which appeals to parents who value being actively involved in their child's educational and therapeutic progress.
"Discovery Kids has been a game-changer for our family. The strengths-based approach and supportive environment have helped our child thrive."
A grateful parent, Orem, Utah
